It was dizzy on the streets of London, too dark for a young woman to be out alone.
When Nina came to, she was walking alone by the street lights. She spun around in a panic, not remembering where she was. At first she was not positive if she was in a dream or not. There was a numbness to her movements.
When she looked at her hands she saw that her favorite black gloves had been cut to be fingerless. She was donned in a black jacket and black dress, shorter than she would usually wear.
She ran a hand through her loose hair, her hair free and long. Again she was confused until she remembered Odile. She caught her reflection in the mirror of a shop and it smiled when she did not.
Nina turned, heart thumping, as she rushed down the street. Finally, out of breath, she found an empty bench to sit on. She took in deep breaths of cold night air, trying to forget the smirk she had seen in the shop glass.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know and understand what it feels like. I’ve lost everyone so dear to me at a young age. And if you need anyone to just listen, I will be here.
(looks up and smiles, nodding) Thank you, Bianca. How long does it last? Grief? I’ve never lost…someone before.
It lasts as long as you keep the pain in your heart. The more you keep it, the more it will hurt, remember that. I suggest that you celebrate the life your friend lived instead of mourning it. Cherish all the moments you had with him, all the wonderful memories that you will keep forever. -smiles gently- I think he would’ve wanted that. It’s not easy to get over that he’s not here, but if you take your time, then gradually, you’ll get better.
(a tear falls as she looks down) Thank you, Bianca. (nods and smiles, wiping her eyes) I still have not heard you sing.
